The week of Valentine's Day is the perfect time to meet our first Almost Kiss Clash competitor. Author of excerpt A: A Thyme for Love author -- Pamela S. Meyers.

Raquel: The characters in your book take such an amazing personal journey. What have you learned about God's character through writing them?
Pamela: God is always faithful to forgive when we come to him in confession and repentance. He is also patient waiting for us to come around to understanding that we need that same attitude of forgiveness toward others.
Raquel: Your story is set in such a gorgeous place. Does the area hold a significance for you?
Pamela: The story is set in the same area where I grew up. I would have set it in my hometown of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, but I chose to create the fictional area of Canoga Lake, Wisconsin about ten miles to the east of Lake Geneva for more authorial freedom.
Raquel: Thyme for Love is full of interesting and quirky characters. Do you have a favorite? One you might like to spend a afternoon chatting with over tea?
Pamela: My herioine’s Aunt Kitty without whom she lives during the story is a very energetic 70-year-old widow, who loves to use idioms but she can never say them right. She is fun-loving and full of spunk, but she also has a heart of wisdom and depth.
